The Anglican Foundation of Canada was established in 1957 to encourage and support ministry within the Anglican Church of Canada. In 2017 the Anglican Foundation of Canada will celebrate 60 years of generous funding to innovative infrastructure and ministry-related projects that have benefited thousands of individuals, parishes, and faith communities.
In celebration of the 60th Diamond Anniversary of the Anglican Foundation, AFC is setting aside $60,000 for an expanded Request-for-Proposals process in 2017 to promote innovative ministry projects. Four (4) one-time grants of up to $15,000 will be given to a parish or diocese within the Anglican Church of Canada.
The Foundation will continue to unveil projects throughout spring 2017, all of which will lead up to the 60th Anniversary Annual General Meeting in Vancouver, BC in May 2017. These initiatives include:
