Bishop Peter Coffin and chaplains to the Canadian Forces met this week to address the many and varied issues associated with their work. Military chaplains provide sacramental, liturgical and pastoral care to military members and their families. The Bishop visits chaplains and troops in garrison, in their homes and in the field. The Bishop serves the needs of his clergy (46 Regular Force and 32 Reserve Force) as well as the needs of 20,000 Anglicans who form part of the Canadian Forces family.
The Anglican Bishop Ordinary Trust welcomes financial contributions to ensure that the Canadian Forces have a Bishop dedicated to the chaplains and their work with CF personnel and their families. Honoring the past. Sustaining the present. Investing in the future.
Gifts may be made to The Anglican Foundation of Canada with The Anglican Bishop Ordinary Trust indicated.
