“Our shows offer church communities a way to keep the discussions alive at home and at church. We encourage follow up activities that allow everyone to continue exploring the topic we present in a play. In some cases, we can…provide resources for adults and parents who want to keep learning.”

Through grants and bursaries, the Anglican Foundation of Canada (AFC) is committed to alleviating the financial burden of students. Thanks to the generosity of Canadian Anglicans, in 2021 AFC awarded $36,500 in bursaries for theological education to students enrolled in a variety of programs. Here are some of our 2021 bursary recipients:

“Like many people who work in the not-for-profit sector,” says Jay Pak, AFC’s new Grants & Office Coordinator, “I have a passion for helping others and was looking for a position that aligned with my values. Giving money out is exciting. It feels good. Plus, I appreciate the supportive culture of the AFC team.”
