As a newly-ordained young priest, I was made aware of and impressed by the support of the Anglican Foundation for churches throughout our diocese. Although I have not played any official role in the organization, championing the Foundation’s work and ministry comes easily. In the parish where I currently serve, a grant from the Anglican Foundation was instrumental in renovating and making accessible our narthex and bell tower entrances. Installing glass doors and making it easy for people to notice and enter the church has positively changed the life of our community, as visitors and new members alike are attracted to our sacred space. Over the years, the Anglican Foundation has proven to be adaptable in its support of ministry, and the places from which our ministry comes, so I am happy to donate and encourage individuals and parishes to do so as well!
