In 2015 I heard that the Anglican Foundation of Canada provided bursaries to students training for ordained ministry. As a full-time student of Queen’s College in St. John’s, Newfoundland, I greatly appreciated being a bursary recipient since it reduced the financial impact on my family as I studied to earn my degree. I am a donor to AFC because I understand the importance of supporting theology students. I continue to promote AFC in my ordained ministry. I introduced Hope Bear to our Sunday school children, and they love to include it in many of their activities. Children’s Prayers with Hope Bear is used to encourage children in our parish to pray. Thank you, AFC, for the wonderful work that you do.
