The Anglican Foundation has for decades been a steadfast supporter of the Diocese of Quebec, and in a multiplicity of ways. There’s hardly a church building in the diocese that hasn’t benefited from a grant or loan. But the Foundation’s help extends far beyond bricks and mortar—such as supporting a parish-based community farm, a summer camp for Syrian refugee children, and a program of lay formation. Many of our clergy have received an AFC bursary while at seminary, and some (including myself) are pursuing graduate studies in theology, while serving in ministry, with help from the Foundation. The Anglican Foundation of Canada reminds us we’re part of—and supported by—a wider church family.
