Bishop of Caledonia
Terrace, British Columbia
The work of the Anglican Foundation was one of the first things I was introduced to when I joined the church in 1986. I am proud that every parish in Caledonia is a member. AFC proves the old cliché, “Many hands make light work,” is true. In so many parishes, there are plaques that recall the work of the Anglican Foundation, demonstrating how the national church has made a real and tangible difference. In one recent example, the Anglican Foundation assisted the small parish in Hazleton, British Columbia to improve their entrance and make their church more accessible. This grant made an isolated community feel part of a greater caring church and enables their ministry for years to come.
