It was during my time at Queen’s College that I discovered the full scope of the work of the Anglican Foundation. The Provost, the Rev. Dr. Alex Faseruk, was a board director and encouraged me to apply for bursaries to offset the cost of my education. At that same time, the Rev. Canon Judy Rois presented a young man from St. John’s with a wheelchair through the support of the Foundation’s Kids Helping Kids Fund. As the recipient of two bursaries, and as a witness to the work of the Foundation, I continue to be a donor and speak of the Foundation often as a way to encourage my parishioners to be members also.
