Throughout his ministry in the Diocese of Toronto, the Most Rev. Lewis Garnsworthy believed that excellence in preaching and pastoral care was essential to the vitality of the Church.
The Lewis S. Garnsworthy Memorial Trust was established in 1994 to assist clergy in the Diocese of Toronto to achieve that excellence. The trust provides bursaries to assist clergy from the diocese to enroll in courses for the purpose of enriching their skills in preaching and pastoral care.
