A simple way to make a lasting difference.
Leaving a gift in your will is one of the most powerful ways to support the future of the Anglican Church of Canada. It’s a flexible, accessible option that allows you to care for your loved ones and the ministries that matter most to you.
You don’t have to rewrite your entire will. A simple amendment—called a codicil—can be added at any time with the help of your legal advisor.
Sample Wording for Your Will
To provide general support to the Anglican Foundation of Canada:

To direct your gift to a specific area of ministry:
“…to be used for the purpose of [e.g., Indigenous ministries, theological education, parish outreach, or youth ministry], as determined by the Anglican Foundation of Canada. If circumstances make the specified use of this gift no longer practical or desirable, the Board of Directors of the Anglican Foundation of Canada is authorized to vary the purpose in keeping with the original spirit and intent of the gift.”
