The Anglican Foundation of Canada provides bursaries for theological education as follows:
- General Theological Bursaries are for men and women training for ministry in The Anglican Church of Canada. Bursaries are not given for undergraduate study.
- Advanced Degree Study Bursaries are for advanced theological study at the post-graduate level with a view to contributing to the life and ministry of the Anglican Church of Canada. Applicants are required to have an initial university degree (B.A. or equivalent) and be active in the Anglican Church of Canada.
- Doctor of Ministry Study Bursaries are for the Doctor of Ministry degree at a recognized theological college by clergy who are in good standing in the Anglican Church of Canada. The applicant is required to have a professional theological degree (M. Div. or equivalent) and a minimum of five years pastoral experience.
Application deadlines each year are April 1 and September 1. Applicants are advised of the results in June or December and the funds are distributed through the theological college at which the student is enrolled.
