Becoming an Anglican, attending Holy Trinity Church, Merrickville, in 1986, I was soon made aware of the Anglican Foundation by serving on council. We needed assistance with repairs to our church interior and later the basement (to create Sunday school classrooms, and spaces for meetings and social events). As a grant recipient, the Diocese of Ontario is grateful to the Foundation for assisting many parishes in infrastructure repairs, accessibility, kids after school programs, children’s camping experiences, and the formation of children’s choirs. I am a donor to AFC because I want to “imagine more.”
