Say Yes! to Kids RFP

Based on the success of the Say Yes! to Kids campaign, the Anglican Foundation of Canada is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) that contribute to the physical, intellectual, emotional, or spiritual well-being of children, youth, or young adults within Canada. “The Say Yes! to Kids campaign is still active until the end of June,” says Canon Judy Rois, Executive Director, “and with more than $85,000 raised to date, we now know this will be AFC’s largest-ever RFP.”

Central NL Says Yes!

The Anglican Foundation of Canada’s Say Yes! to Kids campaign received a $5,000 donation from the Diocese of Central Newfoundland, helping AFC’s national campaign edge that much closer to its goal. More than $78,000 of the $100,000 target has been raised to date. “We like the idea of being a generative diocese and sharing in the ministry of the wider church,” says The Rt. Rev. AFC Announces May 2021 Grants

The Anglican Foundation of Canada (AFC) has announced $189,000 in funding in its May cycle of awards. In addition to church infrastructure and restoration disbursements of $117,500, AFC provided $30,000 towards ministry and education projects that benefit Indigenous people across Canada, $19,000 for theological education and bursaries, and $17,500 in programs that support children, youth, and young adults.

Say Yes! to Kids $25,000 Matching Gift

The Anglican Foundation of Canada (AFC) is pleased to announce an extraordinary matching gift in support of Say Yes! to Kids. All donations to Say Yes! to Kids, up to $25,000, will be matched, dollar-for-dollar. The matching gift has been made in memory of the brothers of the donors, the Rev. Canon Christopher Carr, of the Diocese of Ontario, and the Rev. Canon John Erb who served as Executive Director of AFC from 1997-2005.
